This is the bar where the closing event will take place. Slingshot is just a 22-minute walk from the Charlotte Convention Center or 13 minutes by
public transportation.
Instructions to get there by public transportation:
- Start at Brooklyn Village Station – This station is right
next to the Convention Center and can be accessed
from Brooklyn Village Avenue. - Board the Blue Line Southbound – Take the train
heading toward the South Boulevard direction. - Get off at Bland Street Station – Located at 1511
Camden Road in South End. - Walk to Slingshot – It’s about an 8-minute walk from
the station to Slingshot at 1320 South Church Street.
Getting Around Charlotte
Charlotte’s Lynx Light Rail is a convenient and popular way to explore the city. It runs through many key neighborhoods, including Uptown and South End, making it a great option for getting to and from the conference venue.
If you’re planning to use public transit during your stay, consider purchasing a CATS Day Pass. You can buy multiple-day passes in advance, and they’re available for pickup at the Charlotte Transportation Center (or can be shipped to you).
